Coach OSO

Coach Servando "Oso" Osorio is a dedicated educator, coach, and family man, deeply committed to the development of young athletes in the Tualatin community. With 19 years of experience teaching Spanish and coaching both football and wrestling at Tualatin High School, Coach Oso has been instrumental in shaping the school's athletic programs.

A graduate of Reedsport High School, Coach Oso earned All-League and All-State honors as an Offensive and Defensive Lineman and Linebacker. He continued his academic and athletic journey at Willamette University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish, followed by a Master of Arts in Teaching.

Beyond his teaching role, Coach Oso serves as the Defensive Line Coach and Academic Coordinator for the Tualatin High School football team. He also contributes as an assistant coach for the school's wrestling team. His coaching philosophy emphasizes character development, academic excellence, and athletic achievement.

In addition to his high school coaching responsibilities, Coach Oso volunteers with the Tualatin Youth Wrestling Club and Tualatin Youth Football, nurturing young talent and fostering a love for sports from an early age.

At home, Coach Oso and his wife, Kristen, cherish time with their two children, Sophia and Marcus, and their dog, Koa. His unwavering dedication to family, education, and coaching continues to inspire and positively impact the Tualatin community.
